Rebecca Boedges Rebecca Boedges is a national certified counselor trained to serve a variety of individual and group concerns across the lifespan: from adolescents to adults, and for couples and families. Her specialties include body image, anxiety, depression, stress management and workplace-related counseling.

Boedges has ten years of experience working with people and systems in business, the private sector and one-on-one counseling. Her background includes high-technology corporate creative marketing roles, and consulting with private sector clients to develop selection and promotion assessments that are compliant with Title VII Civil Rights Act. Boedges has experience working with college students with a range of concerns from eating disorders, learning disabilities, depression, anxiety and substance abuse. Boedges continues her work with adults as a substitute therapist for the NCSS crisis team.

Boedges is a certified white belt Nia dance instructor and a certified personal trainer with more than twenty years of movement experience, ten years of Nia dance and two years teaching experience. She completed one year of study for body-based psychotherapy at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. Boedges earned a Master’s of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Vermont; a Masters’ of Arts degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Colorado-Denver; and a double major Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Anthropology/Sociology, and Psychology from Westminster College. She is currently a professional member of the American Counseling Association and IDEA Fitness.
